Senator Schumer got a lot of people excited when he attached the UAP Disclosure Act to the NDAA. The Senator laid out the yellow brick road of Disclosure, and we finally thought we were getting to the bottom of the rabbit hole. However, as I write this, it sounds like, in typical DC fashion, “They” are doing their best to make sure we don’t get anything close to what Schumer had written. That is a sad development, but I think there is a different angle we need to consider when it comes to The Phenomenon.
I’ve recently stumbled upon The UFO Rabbit Hole Podcast, hosted by Kelly Chase. To be perfectly honest, it was not at all what I expected, but it was exactly what I needed. Too often content creators in the UAP sphere get caught up in the well tread tropes and ultimately end up spinning the same narrative over and over. Chase has deftly stepped off the beaten path and approached it from a direction I never knew existed. The rational scientific study of the phenomenon that approaches from a philosophical and religious view. She dives into the deep end of the pool, and manages to pull off the Triple Lindy. Rodney would be proud.
Her research, guests, and insightful interviews are not to be missed. 10/10 recommend.
She also introduced me to the idea of ontological shock. TL;DR, it’s when something forces you to question your entire worldview. Whistle-blowers Elizondo and Grusch have both made some interesting comments that perhaps point to this being the reason disclosure has not happened. What if human history, as we know it is wrong? What if we are not the apex predators, but we’re more along the lines of a mountain lion, as Grusch said on his recent JRE appearance? Sure, mountain lions can be scary, but we still go on about our lives without much real concern over them. And why does Grusch insist on calling our possible visitors Non Human Intelligence? Could there be another species, more advanced than humans sharing the planet with us?
Therein lies the bigger problem. Telling the humans of earth we aren’t alone is one thing. Telling the humans of earth we have our entire history wrong is another. To be honest, I understand the concern and caution the Deep State types seem to be exercising here, and rightfully so. This has the potential to change life as know it. However, the humans of Earth have a “need to know.”
Humanity has an inherent right to know our collective origin story; Regardless of how upsetting it may be.
We should know what questions we have answers to, even if they make us uncomfortable. We deserve to know if we were conceived from clay and the breath of God, or if we were genetically modified by the “gods” to be their worker bees. Was The Abyss actually a documentary? Has the government been slow walking us to disclosure over the last 80 years, or more?
Surely, there will be ontological shock. Some people will not be able to handle it. Some will bury their heads in the sand. Some will scream fake news. But I suspect the vast majority of us will go on about our business. We still have bills to pay, dinner to cook, and bedtime stories to read.
Like Mulder said, “The truth is out there” and Humanity deserves to know.
Thanks for stopping by.
